ARPITHA STEEL LINTEL

 

Arpitha Steel Lintel is a product made of C.R. Steel sheets with perforations and Powder coated. Steel strips are perforated where applicable, cut to length and then pressed to shape using special purpose machines. Tested and certified.  A  worthy replacement for conventional RCC lintels.

 

Specifications

The Steel Lintels are made of 3 mm thick Cold Rolled Sheet.  The sheets are duly perforated with 12.5 mm dia holes which helps  good  mortar penetration, which enables  a strong bond between the product and the mortar..  The entire product is finally phosphated in for surface treatment and then Powder Coated to a thickness of  60 to 80 microns for  corrosion  prevention.

 

Purpose

These Steel lintels could be used in all types of buildings starting from an individual dwelling to multistoried buildings and is a replacement for the conventional RCC lintels.

10.The product offers excellent long-term resistance to the corrosive elements present in all building situations.

Availability

Arpitha Steel lintels are available in widths of 4, 6 and 8 inches.  Varying lengths depending upon the requirements of blocks at site can also be supplied upon specific requirements.

 

Installation

The lintel is placed above the open space in the block work with end bearings of 20cms. and fully bedded on the block work cement mortar. The level of the lintel is adjusted by the regular masonry tools. A layer of cement mortar is applied on the surface of the lintel and laying of block work is continued as is done in the normal course.
